BHUBANESWAR: Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited's (IFFCO) Paradip unit in Orissa has achieved record production in its phosphoric acid plant for any single day on August 12.
The unit is all set to meet the total production target of 18.40 lakh tonnes fixed for the current fiscal.
Announcing the same on the Independence day yesterday, IFFCO unit's Senior General Manager SK Gandhi said the PAP achieved a record production of 3,000 tonnes for any single day on August 12.
On behalf of IFFCO Managing Director US Awasthi, Gandhi conveyed thanks to the employees of Paradip unit of the fertiliser cooperative for this great achievement.
Already, Paradip unit has achieved a production of 4.5 lakh tonnes so far notwithstanding the several constraints.
During April-July period, IFFCIOs Paradip unit has earned additional revenue of Rs 946 lakh through the sale of gypsum, hydro fluorosilisic acid and export of power to the state.
