IEEMA appoints Vishal Gakhar as Director-General

MUMBAI: The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), the apex body for the Indian power equipment manufacturing industry, has appointed Vishal Gakhar as Director-General.

IEEMA is the highest body of the power equipment manufacturing industry in the country and has more than 750 member industries.

Gakhar brings over 17 years experience and before this appointment he was working with the Confederation of Indian Industry.

In addition, he had led special initiatives and policy department in CII's Western Region, apart from handling sectors such as logistics, healthcare and infrastructure.

He is an MBA in marketing and takes keen interest in building business linkages for industry and trade.
