CHENNAI: Silicon India’s best ‘New Apps’ award has gone to Edserv Softsystems Limited’s ‘HumThum’ Education content application. The company has won this prestigious award over other 20 new applications that have been launched in 2011.
The HumThum apps has provided a unique way to solve local problems pertaining over 20000 websites created for every pin code in the country. There are more than 100000 downloads available in this apps. Smart phone users can easily access unique mobile based knowledge applications available at HumThum dot com. Now, the company is aiming to generate revenues of Rs 200 crore with one crore customer base over the next three years through its mobile applications.
Edserv Softsystems has also partnered with Blackberry and Samsung in order to provide its educational content from academics, tuition, skill development and competitive test preparation services. There is a ‘Talking Dictionary’ available at HumThum apps, which also helps users to host and update their personal or business websites.
