Honda introduces automatic version of Brio at Rs 5.74 lakh

NEW DELHI: Honda Cars India has unveiled the automatic transmission variant of small car Brio, which is priced in the range of Rs 5.74 lakh-5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The auto major also unveiled a new version of the manual transmission version, which comes with the price tag of Rs 4.26 lakh.
Honda Cars India Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Jnaneswar Sen said, “Automatic transmissions are gaining popularity in hatchback segment due to our stop-go traffic. Our dealer and customer voice indicated that there is a good potential for automatic in the Brio segment.”

The firm stated that Honda Brio is the first vehicle in its segment to have a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The Brio automatic transmission version also has 4 cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. The company has claimed that the car gives mileage of 16.5 km per litre.
Moreover, the new version of the manual transmission will come with other features, consisting new audio system and body coloured outside door handle
