Himachal govt to offer education loans in two installments for girls

SHIMLA: The state government will be disbursing interest free educational loans to girls in two installments for technical and vocational courses in place of five currently.
The Women Development Corporation is the nodal agency for advancing loans currently. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sarveen Chaudhary stated that the Corporation has sanctioned Rs 75,000 loan to girls for technical and vocational education.
The loan would now be given in two equal installments of Rs 37,500 each.
