Haas Automation India first to offer mobile machine services

NEW DELHI: At the 8th IndiaMART Asian Machine Tool Exhibition (AMTEX), Haas Automation India Pvt Ltd claimed to be the first in India to launch on-the-move services to the customers in need through a van which has the arsenal and service engineers to fix any machine in quick time. After servicing the machines, invoice and warranty is also provided on the spot for future reference. For better results, the van is checked every weekend. The van is on-display at this year’s AMTEX. This quick service facility has been already started in Manesar, Haryana and the company is looking to get this service van on the tracks of Noida, Delhi and Punjab in the coming months.

Kevin Rodricks, service engineer, Haas Automation India Pvt Ltd said, “Our service van is equipped with 20 lacs parts and service kit is equipped with one set of alignment tools. This feature makes our van different from the others.”

Along with this modern, all-equipped van, there were four machines on display at Haas’s stand at Amtex 2012. Haas ST-30 CNC Lathe and Haas ST-20 CNC Lathe are high performance turning center machines while Haas DT-1 is drill center equipment.
