Gold slips by Rs 55 at futures trade today, silver jumps by Rs 500

NEW DELHI: Gold prices slipped by Rs 55 to Rs 29,665 per 10 grams at futures trade today due to the poor offtake coupled with weak international trend, while the white metal rose Rs 500 to Rs 52,800 per kg on robust industrial units demand.

Moreover, gold of 99.9% and 99.5% purity slipped by Rs 55 each to Rs 29,665 and Rs 29,465 per 10 grams, respectively.

Silver coins also climbed by Rs 1,000 to Rs 62,000 for purchasing and Rs 63,000 for selling of 100 pieces.
