NEW DELHI: Gold prices rose to Rs 30,550 per 10 gm at futures trade today on consistent purchasing by jewellers for the upcoming marriage season amid strengthening international trend.
The gold climbed Rs 130 level, crossing its past record level of Rs 30,420. The yellow metal jumped Rs 920 in the last four trading sessions.
Also, silver also climbed by Rs 100 to Rs 55,700 per kg on the risen offtake by industrial units.
On the domestic front, gold of 99.9 and 99.5% purity rose by Rs 130 each to Rs 30,550 and Rs 30,350 per 10 gm, respectively.
