KOLKATA: Domestic budget carrier GoAir, has announced its plans to increase flight frequencies from Delhi to Kolkata and Ranchi from February 5th, 2012.
Besides Kolkata and Rachi, the airline is also looking to enhance frequencies to and from north-west India.
After the addition of these proposed flights, carrier's total departures from Delhi will amount to 177 flights per week, linking Kolkata, Ranchi, Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Patna, Mumbai, Bagdogra, Guwahati, Pune, Lucknow, Nagpur, Bangalore and Goa.
The new flights will facilitate the passengers with additional choices in commuting. GoAir will connect the national capital to Kolkata and Ranchi by double daily service which facilitates day return trips for business travellers.
Presently, GoAir operates 90 daily flights from 21 destinations across the domestic market. It has a young fleet of 11 aircraft and will induct 3 new Airbus A320 aircraft in 2012.
Moreover, the airline has also introduced a host of value-added features such as Go Club, web check-in, fog helpline and SMS service to check flights status.
