GoAir to operate daily direct flights connecting Bangalore with Goa, Kochi

BANGALORE: Domestic budget carrier GoAir, is planning to introduce daily direct flights connecting Bangalore with Goa and Kochi from October 30.

The company's move is to increase the flight numbers is to meet the requirements of additional traffic which is expected in the upcoming winter season.

The carrier will introduce a one-hour Bangalore-Goa flight which is scheduled to leave from Bangalore at 16.50 hours and the return flight from Goa will leave at 18.15 hours to reach Bangalore at 19.20 hours. The company is charging the economy-class seat of Bangalore-Goa service at Rs 3,086 and for business class it is priced at Rs 5,445.

The Bangalore-Kochi flight will take off from Bangalore at 19.55 hours and will reache Kochi at 21.00 hours. Again, it will leave Kochi at 21.30 hours and arrive back Bangalore at 22.35 hours. The service on the Bangalore-Kochi sector has been priced at Rs 2,931 for economy class, and Rs 5,274 for business-class seats.
