NEW DELHI: General Motors (GM) India has announced that it would introduce its electric car next year. The company also said that this electric car would be an environment-friendly and battery-operated small car.
Mr Karl Slym, president and managing director, GM India said, “The company is rapidly expanding its network in the wake of increasing popularity of Chevrolet in India, which recently completed seven years in the country.”
The new launch will be in a joint collaboration with China's SAC (Shanghai Auto Car) and will bring three "value-package" cars.
