Global sales of Tata Motors climbs 12% during May

MUMBAI: Tata Motors Ltd has stated that its international sales jumped 12% during May to 96,089 units as compared to the corresponding period last year.

The sales of luxury brands from Jaguar Land Rover stood at 30,094 units in May, witnessing 35% as against the same month last year.

The sales of luxury sedans of Jaguar brand climbed by 3% in May to 4,342 units and the Land Rover sales rose 42% to 25,752 units.

The firm has stated that the overall passenger vehicles sales was at 20,970 units during May this year, rise of 6% as compared to the same month last year.

The commercial vehicles sales jumped 3% to 45,025 units as compared to the same month last year.

Tata Motors Group’s international sales consist - Tata, Tata Daewoo and Hispano Carrocera, Tata passenger vehicles.
