Fratelli Wines plans to strengthen footprint in India, eyes southern states entry

NEW DELHI: Fratelli Wines is looking to strengthen its footprint across India with its plans to enter new markets of southern states like Kerala, Goa and Karnataka by September this year.

“Fratelli Wines aims to strengthen its foothold by entering Goa, Puducherry, Haryana, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala by the end of first half of the financial year,” as per the statement issued by Fratelli Wines.

In addition, the city-based company has also earmarked Rs 2-crore investment to ramp up the distribution network and brand portfolio by the second quarter of the current fiscal.

Fratelli Wines Director and Co-Promoter Kapil Sekhri, said, “We intend to make an investment of about Rs 2 crore in the current financial year and reach an installed capacity of 80,000 cases soon, and thus create a firm footing as the lead wine maker in the Indian wine market.”

Presently, the company markets wines in various markets including Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Punjab.

Furthermore, the company is also considering to launch a premium brand--Sette by the second quarter of the year.
