Five new government nominated members join Kerala’s state Pharmacy Council

CHENNAI:  The Kerala government has allotted five new members to the Pharmacy Council of the state through the system of nominations, following the completion of term by five of its members, including Council president K C Ajith Kumar. The presidential post has been passed over to the vice-president of the Council, K M Ishak, for the time being.
 

The Council registrar, G Radhakrishnan Nair, stated that the current Council is going to undergo reconstitution with the newly elected members and this is expected to continue until the Council elections get over. The new members hail from different parties in the current United Democratic Front government. Ajith Kumar, the outgoing present who fulfilled his term on the 31st of October, was a nominee for the CPI party in the state of Kerala.

 

Other members who join as new additions to the Council include S Ramabhadran, Stanley John, U K Manu, D Rajan and K M Ishak.
