PUNE: Fiat is reviewing the option of unveiling cars from the Chrysler portfolio, which consists of Jeep, Dodge and the Chrysler, in India.
Mr Enrico Atanasio, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Commercial, Fiat India, said, “I believe that we should look at cars from the Fiat-Chrysler portfolio and we are studying that continuously.”
He has stated that one of the vehicles which the auto maker would be interested to unveil would be 'people carrier type of vehicles' like the sports utility vehicles. Fiat is not satisfied with the growth rate attained in India until now and hence has been aiming to find the strategy for the market.
As Fiat has been shedding its dual existence (which means joint showrooms, dealerships with Tata Motors), Mr Atanasio has stated that it would be leading to better sales for the Italian car manufacturer.
Fiat has been closely working with Tata Motors for fine-tuning its strategy for the Indian market and it is hoping to put up a good show in the Indian market. The firm has also changed its advertising agency and now has got a new ad campaign as well.
