VADODARA: The city-based FAG Bearing India Ltd has witnessed an increase of 3.40 per cent in its net profit for the quarter ended June 2012 at Rs 46.24 crore.
In the corresponding period last year, the company had logged the net profit of Rs 44.72 crore.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 380.06 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 where as the same was at Rs 317.93 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, representing an increase of 19.54 per cent.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 27.82 for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs.26.91 for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of ball/roller bearings and related components primarily in India. It offers deep groove, fourpoint, and self aligning ball bearings, as well as cylindrical roller, spherical roller, and tapered roller bearings.
