MUMBAI: In a bid to fund low cost housing and economical buildings' project, the export-import Bank of India, Exim Bank, on behalf of the government of India, extended a Line of Credit (LOC) worth $22.50 million to the government of the west-African country, Burkina Faso.
While the first LOC worth $30 million was extended for funding the acquisition of tractors, harvesters and agriculture processing equipment, the second LOC of $25 million is being facilitated for financing rural electrification project in Burkina Faso.
This is the third LOC that has been extended by Exim Bank to Burkina Faso.
