BANGALORE: The digital imaging major Epson unveiled the first 'WorkForce' branded series of printers particularly designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The new series consists first two models, namely Epson WorkForce WF-7011 colour A3 single function printer, and the Epson WorkForce WF-7511 β which is company's first-ever A3 inkjet all-in-one printer.
The company has designed the new printer series as superior alternatives to colour laser printers in order to help small to medium businesses in terms of costs and productivity, Epson's new WorkForce models achieve an impressive cost per page that is up to 50 per cent lower compared to colour laser printers.
Samba Moorthy, Director β Sales & Marketing, said, βThe Epson WorkForce A3 printers have been designed to provide our business customers a truly exhaustive set of imaging and printing capabilities with low running cost. From wireless, low cost, high quality A3 document or photo printing to scanning, to faxing and smartphone or cloud service printing, there is virtually nothing these new printers cannot do.β
The Epson WorkForce printers involve Epson's extra high capacity 143 DURABrite Ultra pigment inks offering an extremely low 0.75 paise cost per A4 page for monochrome printing and Rs. 2.10 per A4 colour page for colour prints.
