NEW DELHI: HCL Infosystems, an IT leading firm has announced the acquisition of Edurix which is a part of Attano Media and Education and designs content for the K-12 education segment. The company has acquired an education content provider which will develop and customize content for tablets, dongles and various online platforms. It will also help in reinforcing its education and learning business.
HCL Infosystems, Senior VP and HCL Learning Head Anand Ekambaram said that the acquisition will help the company to expand the in-house content capability for HCL Learning and supplement the current offerings across various segments like K-12, higher education and career development centre (CDC). Content differentiation, combined with the technology capabilities, will ensure that the company provides the best learning solutions to the institutional and individual customers.
Moreover, the acquisition will allow easy access to HCL Learning in overseas markets, mainly in highly emerging markets such as South East Asia, West Asia and Africa.
