Delhi Airport Metro Express line's repair to cost Rs 12 cr

NEW DELHI: To repair the Delhi Airport Metro link would cost close to Rs 12 crore. This information was given by Centre informed the Rajya Sabha.

Minister of State in the Urban Development Ministry Saugata Roy said, “DMRC has said the estimated cost of repair would be Rs 12 crore approximately and their stand is that there would be no revenue loss to them.”

The defects started to surface after a time period of over one year of the inspection by the CMRS and operation of Delhi Airport Metro Express line.

It was informed that a two-member committee has been constituted to review the matter and then submit its report within a time span of three months.
