Crude oil climbs 0.4% on international cues

NEW DELHI: Following a strong international trend, crude oil prices jumped by Rs 20 to Rs 5037 per barrel in futures trade since the speculators developed fresh positions.
 

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil for delivery in October climbed 0.40% in a business turnover of Rs 23,231 lots. The November contract rose by the same margin to Rs 5,067 per barrel in 1,810 lots.
 

Crude oil for November delivery rose 81 cents to $93.23 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
