CII organises road show on Excon 2011 at Madurai

MADURAI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) had organised here a roadshow on the sixth edition of Excon 2011, which is a premier event for the construction equipment industry in India. The event will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bangalore from November 23-27.

More than six-hundred exhibitors, consisting of 200-foreign firms will be participating in the event. The Karnataka government is the Partner State for Excon 2011 and the Indian Earthmoving and Construction Industry Association is the sector partner. This event is supported by the Builders Association of India.

Mr V Venkataramana, Vice President, Puzzolano Ltd, in his theme presentation, has stated that the event is expected to place India as an outsourcing destination for component and aggregate manufacturing.

Mr S Pandian, Chairman, Builders Association of India, Madurai Chapter; Mr Shyam Prakash Gupta, Chairman, CII Madurai Zone, and Mr N. Krishnamoorthy, Vice-Chairman, CII Madurai Zone, had participated in the event.

Last month, the Bihar State Council of the Confederation of Indian Industries ( CII) had also organized a roadshow on Excon 2011.
