NEW DELHI: Industry body Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have inked agreement with National Confederation of Dalit Organizations (NACDOR) to create a job portal and the data bank of the skilled youth belonging to SC/ST community in different areas.

The deal is aimed to provide a basis for close cooperation between CII, NR and NACDOR towards ensuring timely and efficient job portal services for the candidates from the SC/ST community.

The job portal will also help in generating employment opportunities for the youths belonging to SC/ST community.

CII's responsibilities will include the promotion and invitation of its members to register with the portal for the openings available in their units and getting feedback from its members on various skills needed and convey the same to NACDOR for necessary action.

NACDOR would create, maintain and update the appropriate data bank of the candidates with different skill sets on the job portal.

Moreover, CII and NACDOR have also entered into cooperation with the object of jointly promoting the mechanisms being developed and operated under NACDOR's Community Development Accountability Plans's Fair Opportunity Initiative to fulfill the need of providing equal opportunities in education, employment and entrepreneurship to the dalit population of India.
