NEW DELHI: Carnation Auto, a multi-brand auto sales and service initiative started by ex-Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki Jagdish Khattar, is on expansion drive. The company plans to enter new cities while also expanding online penetration for car retail business.
The company will follow the franchisee route to enter new cities. At present, Carnation operates 24 multi-brand service hubs, 17 second-hand vehicle outlets and over 50 mobile workshops.
It holds presence in 16 cities, including Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Chennai through company-operated stores.
Khattar said, “There is tremendous opportunity in the business and we are servicing cars from various brands at our outlets.”
The company has raised nearly Rs 190 crore and the investors include Gaja Capital Partners, Premji Invest and IFCI Ventures.
