NEW DELHI: Broadcom Corporation, a global leader and innovator in semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications, has announced the launch of BCM7014, industry's highly integrated single chip standard definition MPEG2 cable set-top box (STB) system-on-a-chip (SoC) solution.
Company's new offering is designed to intensify India's cable TV digitization initiative by rendering a cost-efficient system capable of rapid, wide-scale deployment.
Broadcom's technology holds the capability to quickly transit country's 94 million analog cable TV households to new digital services.
