CHENNAI: Ashok Leyland, part of Hinduja Group, has bagged an order from Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) for 880AC buses worth $6.5 million under the Indian Line of Credit (LoC) scheme. It has been offered for bringing improvement in the urban transportation of India.
The contract has been inked by Antony Lobo, Special Director - International Operations, Ashok Leyiand and MM Iqbal, Chairman-BRTC, in the presence of Abdullahel Karim, Director-Technical, BRTC and I A Tipu, Chairman, Ifad Group.
