Reports suggest that the new version comes equipped with a series of features. It would be available in all 45 touchpoints across India, said Ashok Leyland Vice-Chairman V Sumantran.
Sumantran further added, “We felt to introduce something special (to our customers) on this special occasion. And therefore, the first Anniversary edition. Today is the birthday of DOST.”
The new model, which is a limited version slated to become available by Diwali, would come with the price tag of Rs 4.78 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai)- Rs 15,000 higher – compared to the previous model. The model comes with stylish body graphics, new colour gray beige besides, bull bars and fuel tank guards.
The auto major, since the unveiling of DOST, sold 20,479 units.
