Apple plans to launch iPad 3 next month

SAN FRANCISCO: Apple is planning to introduce its latest iPad 3 here next month.

The next generation iPad is powered with faster chips and better graphics. However, the company has not disclosed the exact time to hit the stores.

The new tablet is possibly to be named as iPad 3, will feature a Retina Display or something close to it. The iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S will also have Retina Display.

The screen of the new smartphones have 326 pixels per inch, providing a high quality printed version to the texts and images.

As per expectations, that the device may follow the same schedule as that of the iPad 2, which hitted the market about a week after the event.
