Apple to introduce iPad 2 in India on April 29
BANGALORE: Apple, has announced to bring iPad 2 in Indian market on April 29, 2011. The company has already launched its next-generation tablet in US markets over a month ago.
The new Apple iPad 2 is the successor of the Apple iPad Tablet .It is more thinner and lighter than the iPad (1) and features two cameras including a front-facing one for video chat.
The company has announced the concurrent launch of iPad 2 in 12 countries. It will be launched on April 29 in India, Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE. In China it will be launched on May 6.
iPad 2 in India is quite more expensive than iPad 1 which was launched in India at Rs 27,900. The new iPad2 is priced between the range of Rs 29,500 and Rs 46,900, depending on the model.
An iPad 2 comes with 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of memory and some of its model works on Wi-Fi or on both Wi-Fi and 3G.
