KOLKATA: Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C), announced the conclusion of placement of its fifth batch of post graduate diploma in management for executives (PGPEX).
Reports suggest that out of the complete batch of 44 students, 37 have been placed. Three of them were on sabbatical and four of them did not avail the placement facility.
The average salary for the batch was nearly Rs 20 lakh and the highest salary bagged at Rs 28 lakh. The batch received job options from different industries such as consulting, operations, IT-consulting, telecom, banking, healthcare and product management.
Moreover, firms such as Bain Consulting, McKinsey IT, Keane Consulting, Microsoft, Google, Cognizant Business Consulting, Infosys and Amazon took part in the placement process.
