US ranks India as most afflicted by terrorism

The United States has ranked India, where 2300 people were killed by terrorists in 2007, among the world’s most terror-affected countries with terror activities spread all over the country from the conflict in Jammu and Kashmir to Naxal insurgency in the centre, east and south to ULFA activities in the north-east to Islamic terror groups targeting all parts of India.
