Unruly MPs referred to Privileges Committee

In an unprecedented move, Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatter¬jee has sent the cases of as many as 32 ‘unruly’ Members of Parliament to the Privileges Committee. The action follows a series of warnings by the chair that disciplinary action will be initiated against MPs disrupting proceedings by trooping into the well of the House or indulging in slogan shouting.
