Six Lashkar terrorists arrested in Hyderabad |

In a major break through, security forces in Andhra Pradesh on August 28 arrested six alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists, who were plotting to engineer a blast at a Ganesh temple near Secunderabad railway station.
Disclosing this to newspersons in Hyderabad on August 29, police sources said : “Acting on a tip-off, a Special Task Force team picked up the alleged terrorists after conducting raids at four places in the city and seized three kg of ammonium nitrate, an explosive device, gelatin sticks and a revolver, police said.
The explosive materials seemed similar to those used in the blast of Sai Baba temple at Dilsukhnagar two years ago, police said.
The suspected militants were planning to disturb peace and foment communal trouble during the ensuing Ganesh festival, police said.
Two of the six terrorists had reportedly visited Bosnia earlier as part of terror training, sources said.
