Nuclear deal : Govt. seeks Left clearance on safeguards

Reports say that the Manmohan Singh Government made a strong pitch at the meeting of the UPA-Left Committee on the Indo-US nuclear deal on May 6 for the Left parties’ nod for going ahead with the safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
