Mongolian President’s visit |

India kicks off its diplomatic calendar of 2001 with a visit of Mongolian President Natsagin Bagbandi, who is visiting New Delhi on the New Year’s day on Jan. 1. Mr. Bagabandi, during his five day visit will call on the President and the Prime Minister and hold talks on regional, international and issues of mutual concern. On the regional issues, Mongolia has backed India on a number of occasions. Mr. Bagabandi is coming at a time when the two countries are celebrating the 45th anniversary of their establishment of diplomatic relations. In his message, the Prime Minister said, his visit coinciding with the event will help in further intensification of their bilateral relations.
