Manipur : Five militants arrested |

Security forces in Manipur arrested five militants on Dec. 28 from different places in the capital, Imphal.
Sorokhaibam Romichandra Singh of Nongren Maning Leikai was arrested by the Imphal West police commandos on Wednesday from the eastern side of Heirangoithong Bridge in Imphal West.
Another militant, Kshetrimayum Ibomcha Singh of Mayang Langjing Tamang has been arrested yesterday from Singjamei Chin¬gamakhong in Imphal West. The police source said that one PREPAK activist was also arrested from Thangal Bazar on Wednesday.
In yet another incident, a combined team of the 32 AR and the Imphal East district police commandos arrested one Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) activist at Kongba Bazar while conducting frisking and checking at the area.
The team also arrested one People’s United Liberation Front activist identified as Md. Irshad Ali of Kyamgei Mayai Leikai in Imphal East.
