Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that he is happy at the positive statements made by the new leaders in Pakistan. Speaking in Akhnoor on Friday, April 25, after inaugurating the country’s longest cantilever bridge over the Chenab, he said that his government is committed to improving relations with Pakistan and hoped that the peace process would continue with the new democratic regime there.
