There are reports that the Congress-PDP coalition in Jammu and Kashmir is considering the option of advancing the Assembly elections in the state now that the allies are pulling together. Citing logistical problems in holding elections in September or October, when they are due, leaders of the coalition feel, July will be ideal for the polls.
