Prime Minister Manmohan Singh last week said India’s future and economic interests would be served best by greater integration with its ASEAN partners. Dr. Singh was addressing the seventh Indo-Asean summit in Hua Hin, Thailand, on Oct. 23. The summit brings the ten ASEAN nations together with China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
