Indigenous battle tank fails winter trials: Army

An indigenous main battle tank (MBT) that has been in the development for nearly 36 years has failed to deliver at the just-concluded winter trials, the Indian Army has told a key parliamentary panel. "We have just carried out the trial in winter. The tank performed very poorly.
