Indian parties flay Bush for remarks on food prices

President George Bush stirred up hornet’s nest last week by suggesting that a greater demand in India is blamed for rising world food prices. Even as political parties in India chided Bush for his remarks, the White House came up with another statement on May 6 blaming India and China for high fuel prices.
