As many as 15 heads of African Government including South African President Thabo Mbeki, Congo’s President Joseph Kabila, Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be participating in the African Summit to be held in New Delhi on April 8-9. Alarmed by the growing influence of China in the mineral resources and oil and gas rich sector in many African countries, India decided to turn its focus from OPEC countries to African nations.
