India-Myanmar border liaison meeting begins |

The military delegations of India and Myanmar began their bian¬nual six-day border liaison meeting on April 24 that will focus on issues like cross-border insurgency, arms smuggling and border management.
The first round of discussions was held at Rangapahar in Naga¬land. The 15-member visiting delegation then reached Kolkata, where its leader, Brig. Gen. Tin Maung Ohn on April 25 called on Lt. Gen. V.K. Singh, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command.
