India-Africa conclave to discuss 131 projects |

With the Indian economy striding forward, African countries are looking for greater investment, pointing to the immense potential that lay in several sectors. A three-day India-Africa conclave has been organized in New Delhi on March 19. The fourth conclave, the largest ever, is expected to highlight Africa’s potential as an investment venue and increase economic cooperation between India and the nations of the African continent. A total of 33 African countries with 525 delegates are expected to attend the meet. From the Indian side, around 400 participants are expected. Focusing on four main areas – technology, agriculture, human resources and energy – the conference is expected to take up 131 projects worth over $10 billion.
