For the first time in nearly 18 years, the family members of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national sentenced to death for alleged involvement in bombing that killed 14 people, had an emotional union with him in Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore on April 24. His wife, Sukhpreet Kaur, two daughters, Swapandeep and Poonam, sister Dalbir Kaur and her husband, were permitted by the Pakistan Government to travel to Pakistan to meet him.
