Beijing agrees to talks with Dalai Lama’s envoy – anti-French stir in China

While the Dalai Lama has welcomed the Chinese Government’s offer to meet his envoy, the French grant of honorary citizenship to the Tibetan spiritual leader and the earlier disruption of the Olympic Torch relay in Paris have triggered anti-French protests in China with many French Carrefour super markets becoming the targets of attacks.
